Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera

The DSLR market has become very competitive over the past couple of years, with the Canon EOS 5D and 7D running the market. But Canon realized they could really take control of things when they offered the same technology of their higher-end cameras in the more reasonably-priced Canon Rebel T2I, leaving its competition in the Stone Age.

After rethinking its model, Nikon now offers a DSLR that is competitively-priced with the Canon Rebel T2I. The Nikon D3100 features full 1080p HD video recording with full-time autofocus, sound, and a dedicated control button. This technology wasn’t even offered in the Nikon D90, which was supposed to be the brand’s comparative option to the Canon 7D. Will this be enough to get the Japanese brand, Nikon, back in the game?
